WonderfulWorship
Worship is one of the most talked about and least truly understood parts of being a Christian. We want to talk about things like:
- What scripture says about worship
- What worship can or should look like
- Challenges of worship leadership
- How we worship outside the church environment
- Ways to encourage worship in a congregation both with music and without
I will post a topic on a Thursday. Interested folks can write an entry on that topic on their own blog and let me know. The next Thursday I’ll post a list of links to all of the entries I heard about. We can then spend a week reading, digesting and discussing the entries. The next Thursday I post the next topic.
A week of writing on the new topic, a week of discussion. Wash, rinse, repeat.
I’m trying not to make this a self-promoting “link to me!” fest. I will make a regular post with the list of links, and I’d ask that you link to wonderfulpages in your post on the topic of the week, so others can find their way here and join the conversation, that’s it.
I imagine this will start small, and I have invited a handful of bloggers that I read regularly to contribute. I hope that a small response won’t discourage anyone, as talking and helping each other with worship is a wonderful thing, regardless of how many hits it generates.
Anyone is welcome to join. All that we ask is that you are a Christian and you are willing to write about the topic at hand without being insulting or divisive. Join by writing a post on the current topic and letting me know (use the Contact Us link on the right). If you only want to write the occasional post, that’s perfectly fine!
